Federal awards

1,313,281 contract awards from 2004 through 2026, $1,212.3B CAD in total, across 183,024 distinct vendor names and the full departmental landscape (25 portfolios tabled in concentration). Records carry value, date, contracting department, vendor legal name, and — for roughly 871K records — the award procedure label used in the no-tender series. Reporting threshold: $10K. A vendor-geography layer resolves 464,227 records ($765.5B of value) to a vendor home province.

Quebec tenders

405,956 tenders, 2021–2026, with the full named-bidder list preserved per tender — the property that makes competition measurement possible. Across the corpus: 1.98 average bidders and a 67.4% single-bid rate. Derived layers: a three-way category classification covering 373,663 tenders, procedure-method labels on 400,081, and buyer-level competition tables for the largest 13 buyers.

Bid challenges

2,043 complaints before the Canadian International Trade Tribunal spanning 1990–2026, each resolved to a disposition document type (777 decisions, 719 determinations, 547 orders). Year-of-filing is populated from 2000 onward. Analyzed in challenges.

British Columbia awards

15,068 ministry awards, 2012–2026, $12.7B CAD, spanning 15 ministries and branches with vendor attribution. Analyzed in British Columbia.

Expanding coverage

Additional provincial and municipal award layers are in compilation. Coverage claims on this site are always scoped to what is loaded in the current release — nothing is extrapolated from partial layers.

What we do not distribute

We publish aggregates — statistics, tables, charts, and derived indices — not raw records. Research access to the compiled corpus is by arrangement; see services. Figures on this site are safe to cite with the release tag: pubsec/data 2026.10, No Strings Labs.
